Overview

We are deliberately conservative about what we put into production. The platforms listed here are the ones our engineers run every day, know the failure modes of, and can support at two in the morning. That is a higher bar than a vendor partnership, and it is why the list is shorter than it could be.

Choosing a platform is a long commitment for the client, so we weigh support availability in this region, licensing cost over several years and how cleanly a system can be handed to another team later. Where an open platform does the job as well as a commercial one, we will say so. Where it does not, we will say that too.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work with these vendors?

No. This is what we run most often and support best. If your environment is built on something else, we assess it on its merits and support it rather than pushing a migration.

Why both VMware and Proxmox?

They suit different budgets and requirements. VMware where existing licensing, tooling or vendor support justify it; Proxmox where a modern hypervisor without per-socket licensing is a better fit.

Will we be locked in to you?

No. Documentation, credentials and configuration belong to you and are kept current, so another team could take over. We treat that as a condition of doing the work properly.

How do you decide when to replace something?

When it stops being supported, stops meeting the requirement, or costs more to keep running than to replace. We present the reasoning and the numbers, and the decision is yours.
