Cloud & Modern Workplace

Secure cloud platforms and employee environments designed for collaboration, controlled access and reliable day-to-day work.

Overview

KNEXEL designs, migrates and operates cloud environments for businesses in Azerbaijan on Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. We treat cloud as an operating model, not a one-time move: identity, security, backup, cost and support are designed together, so the platform stays manageable long after the migration project ends.

Typical work includes moving email and file servers to Microsoft 365, securing accounts with multi-factor authentication and conditional access, managing laptops and phones with Intune, migrating or extending servers into Azure or AWS, and backing up cloud data, which the cloud provider does not do for you. Ongoing cloud operations keep licences right-sized and monthly spend under control.

01

Where it helps

  • Cloud adoption has grown without consistent governance
  • Teams need secure access across locations and devices
  • Licensing, backup or cloud costs need control

Our approach

We map users, workloads and dependencies, design the target environment and migrate in controlled stages. Then we set up governance and day-to-day operations.

04

Results for the business

  1. Secure, flexible access
  2. Simpler platform management
  3. Better visibility of cloud cost and risk
05

How we deliver

  1. 01

    Assess and design

We review current servers, mailboxes, data volumes, licences and connectivity, then design the target tenant, identity model and security baseline.

  2. 02

    Migrate

Mail, files and workloads move in planned waves, usually outside business hours, with a pilot group first and a rollback path for every step.

  3. 03

    Secure and back up

Multi-factor authentication, conditional access, device compliance with Intune, data-loss rules and independent backup of Microsoft 365 and cloud workloads.

  4. 04

    Operate and optimise

User and licence administration, monitoring, monthly cost reviews and continuous improvement of security scores.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?

A company of 20–100 users is typically migrated in two to four weeks, including preparation, a pilot group and user training. Cut-over is normally done over a weekend so staff are not interrupted.

Will our data stay secure in the cloud?

With the right configuration it is usually more secure than an office server: encrypted storage, multi-factor authentication, conditional access and audit logs. Default settings are not enough, so we apply a security baseline as part of every project.

Do we still need backup if we use Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft protects the platform, not your data against deletion, ransomware or a departing employee. We add independent backup with point-in-time restore.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Usually. We remove unused licences and resources, right-size virtual machines, apply reservations and set budgets and alerts, then review spend monthly.

Can we keep some servers on premises?

Yes. Hybrid designs are common. For example, line-of-business applications stay local while email, files and identity move to the cloud.
